We combine traditional American quilting motifs and gorgeous Chinese silk textiles to create unique decorative quilted wall hangings. Take a look at our gallery for some of our current designs.

Inspiration was drawn from the bold shapes and dramatic color contrast of American Amish quilt patterns. These were then combined with the lovely array of silk brocade textiles available in China.

Each piece is individually created by an American designer living in China and stitched with skill by local seamstresses. The tops are pieced by machine and the quilting is entirely hand stitched.

All quilts are made with 100% linen, silk blend brocade, and 100% cotton batting. Using a silk blend instead of pure silk enables hand washing. When needed, they may be washed sparingly by hand in cold water and very mild soap or dry cleaned. Each item has a hanging sleeve attached on back for ease of display. A hanging rod specially for quilts may be used, a curtain rod will work just as well.

According to Chinese folklore, an invisible red thread connects those destined to be together. The thread may stretch or tangle, but will never break.
